What Can Be Personalised on the Certificate Holder

Personalising a MyO! certificate holder comes down to the stamping on the cover: what can go on it, and what cannot. This page sets out both lists before you order. For the product as a whole, from sizes and materials to the ordering flow, see the complete guide to certificate holders.
Two stamp fields on the cover
The cover carries two stamp fields: one for the couple’s names, one for the wedding date. Those two fields are the whole of the cover stamping, and their content is fixed: names plus a date. Stamping presses the lettering into the cover material, which is why it outlasts printing. How the process works and how the price is worked out is covered in hot-foil process and pricing.
What you can choose
Fixed fields do not mean there is nothing to decide. Three things are yours to set:
- The names and their order: you supply the couple’s names, in Chinese or English or both together. Whose name comes first, and in which script, follows what you give us.
- The date format: which way the wedding date is written is your choice.
- The typeface pairing: the designer pairs a Chinese calligraphic face with an English serif and sets both on the centre of the cover, sharing one visual centre so neither line crowds the other. If you have a font preference, raise it before ordering.
What cannot be changed
- No extra lines: two fields means the printable content is fixed, names plus a date, with no room to add more.
- No arbitrary text: the fields hold the names and the date, not free-form wording.
- No photos or patterns: the standard service stamps names and a date only. A particular pattern or photo is assessed case by case, so ask us first.
- Nothing changes after the proof: once production has begun, the stamped content can no longer be altered.
Three things to settle before ordering
- Side by side or stacked: whether the two names sit side by side on one line, or one above the other.
- Long names: if either name is long, telling us in advance avoids the type size being squeezed down.
- The date format: settle it together with the name layout so the proof is complete.
The design proof is the last checkpoint
Before the proof is approved we check every line of text with you: the name layout, the date format and the fonts are all settled at the proof stage, and stamping starts only once you have confirmed it. Any change has to be raised before you approve the proof. The full ordering and confirmation steps are in how customisation works.
Price and lead time
Each holder is HK$388, and that price already includes printing the couple’s names and the wedding date, so the stamping step is not charged separately. Custom orders take about 7-14 working days depending on order volume, counted from the point the design proof is confirmed. If your wedding or registration date is fixed, order early enough to leave room for the lead time plus delivery.
